Write for Rights is the world’s biggest human rights event, where millions of people around the world come together to protect the rights of others.

In Slovenia a network of civil society and non-governmental organisations that is forming the Voice of the People initiative ahead of the general election has addressed a number of requests related to the rule of law, climate change, housing policy, the elderly, and welfare state, calling on political parties to take their position. ✊

2022 will be a super-election year in Slovenia

We will elect a new National Assembly. Elected a new president of the republic. At the same time, we will appoint new local authorities. The year 2022 will, whether you like it or not, mark Slovenia politically and also outline its medium-term development. Young active citizens will follow with interest what will happen in the super-election year, as most of us will already have the right to vote in the next elections (in 5 or 6 years).

Session of the new school parliament

Members elected a new president and gave initiatives for changes in the school. The mentor of the new school parliament is Mrs. Nina Gorkič. The gathered members of the school parliament were also addressed by Mrs. Zdenka Varl, headmistress, and Mr. Boštjan Kališnik, school coordinator of the Erasmus+ project GC.
