About Stane Žagar Lipnica Primary School

Stane Žagar Lipnica Primary School was founded in 1957 by Municipality of Radovljica. A branch of it is located at Ovsiše.

Slovene primary schools are attended by pupils from the age of six to the age of fifteen. Our branch school is attended by pupils from the age of six to the age of 10.

In school year 2020/21 we have 262 pupils– four classes at Ovsiše and twelve classes in Lipnica. Our pupils have excellent learning conditions both in Lipnica and at Ovsiše. Our classes of pupils are small, our classrooms are well-equipped and our teachers use innovative teaching methods and focus on each individual pupil. Besides compulsory syllabus, we offer our pupils a variety of optional subjects and clubs. Our school is known for excellent school, sport and art achievements.

We are proud to be part of Erasmus + project Young students as politics game changers and are looking forward to international experience of both our teachers and pupils.
